Pick up a colouring page at your participating school library or participating public library.
Colour your page using your favourite colours.
Return your completed page to library staff to enter the contest.

Libraries may run the contest anytime between January 12th and February 13th, 2026.
Four entries will be selected in the draw and forwarded to Wandering Willie at the Northern Reading Program headquarters.
Selected entries will be featured in the 2026 NRP Colouring Contest Flip Book on the program website.
Winners will receive a book along with a few extra prize treats

Run the contest any time between January 12 and February 13, 2026
Print the 2026 colouring pages and place them at your circulation desk, NRP bulletin board, or NRP activities area
Collect entries as they come in

- Libraries may choose one of three methods:
  – Draw four entries at random from all submissions, or
  – Draw one winner from each division (Adventurers, Pathfinders, Explorers, Voyageurs). *or, if your school/library only has participants in one division, draw four entries from that division.
  – Judging Committee: Form a small judging committee to review submissions and select four winning entries based on agreed-upon criteria.
  Email your four winning entries to the Northern Reading Program by February 13, 2026

Participating Libraries will receive a thank-you gift for administering the contest

Schools without a library or library staff can run the contest through the office or another staff contact and submit entries the same way.

The Northern Reading Program will ship contest awards to your library/school.
Once they arrive, your library/staff contact can distribute prizes to the four drawn winners.
